Ross Tran, formerly known as Ross Draws, is a concept artist and illustrator based out of Los Angeles California. You might have seen some of his work mainly from this YouTube channel Ross Draws, different cartoons or TV shows, or on the big screen with his original character Echo from the Disney movie Earth to Echo that came out in 2014. Ross was born in Vietnam, but moved to and grew up in Northern California. He fell in love with art at a young age which also helped him overcome his insecurities, and express himself more. He also loves making people laugh and smile, which is why he has also tried acting for a little bit in his life.

Work
Ross works for himself, mainly getting paid from his youtube channel that he does with the help of his sidekick and pet dog Milo that you will see in every one of his episodes. From time to time, different companies will contact Ross and ask him to do an art piece for them. As stated above, he has also done work for the Walt Disney Company in creating the main character Echo in the movie Earth to Echo. He also sells art books of his work, pins, and tutorials online at his website for those who want to buy and support him.

Ross has a YouTube channel called Ross Draws that has 1.05 million subscribers. On this channel, he shows different videos of artwork that he's made throughout the years by mainly taking reference photos and turns them into a certain characters that he originally came up with, redraws famous characters from video games, TV shows, and movies, or takes photos and drawings of fanart and redraws them in his own style. In the videos, he will also talk to his audience, and give them advice on how to improve their drawings and become a better artist. He makes these videos in family and kid friendly way that is fun and enjoyable for people of all ages to watch and learn. As you watch some of his videos you will come to find out that his favorite digital tool to use is the Color Dodge tool in photoshop, and his catchphrase that he says in every episode, "It's Color Dodge Time!"
